Shocking Allegation: Victim of Serial Killer Claims to have been Raped by Prosecutor During Trial

As if things in America could not get any worse.

Terry Mitchell has raised shocking allegations that the prosecutor in the serial murderer’s trial, where she was one of the murderer’s victims, had raped her when she was only 16 years old and the trial was on going, as reported by thedailybeast.com.

The murderer we are talking about is Joseph Paul Franklin. In 1980, Terry Mitchell and two of her black friends, were out for a jog when Franklin shot and killed both of them and nearly killed Mitchell as well. Franklin was eventually caught in Florida and deported back to Utah for trial in the double murder case say criminal defense lawyers. Franklin was undoubtedly a sociopath, who had read Hitler’s Mein Kampf and had intentions to spark widespread race wars through his killings. In fact, in just three years preceding his arrest he had travelled all across the country and killed eleven more people and had injured several others.

Franklin was convicted for the double murder of Mitchell’s black friends, and he got the death sentence in another case involving a slaying outside a Missouri synagogue. In 2013, he was executed. The death penalty should be used more for people just like this according to so many people and it should not take that long to be carried out as well.

Unfortunately for Mitchell, this was only the beginning of her troubles. She had believed that her nightmare had come to an end with the death of the serial killer, but evil re-embodied itself in the form of Richard Warren Robert. A federal prosecutor who had acquired praise for his excellent work in putting the serial killer behind bars, someone Mitchell thought of as a protector and a hero betrayed her trust by sexual assaulting her systemically. To make things worse for her, he had now been promoted as a federal judge say criminal defense attorneys.

According to the shocking allegations that Mitchell has finally come forward with, not only did he rape the underage girl back during the 80’s but also blackmailed her by threatening her that if she ever opened her mouth about what happened, he would ensure that there was a mistrial in the Franklin case. Some people wonder how come Mitchell did not come forth with these accusations the day after the Franklin was put down. 

Almost three decades later now, Roberts and his own criminal defense lawyer deny the allegations and have sworn to fight them. In fact, they may even go as far as to disprove Mitchell’s claims and then sue her for defamation.

He was not in any threat but these burglars could have ruined many lives and if they escaped they could have ruined many more. 

His bail has been set at $150,000 and he is currently being held in Dallas County Jail. Many people believe he should not be charged nor even fired from his job.
