A
Berkeley County jury in West Virginia indicted 33 year old Clairesse Sharlene
Felipe, resident of Heather Ridge Drive in Frederick, for a fatal crash that
killed two women in 2015. The police indicated involvement of alcohol as well.
Pamela Games-Neely who was the
prosecuting attorney of Berkeley County for this case said that Felipe was
convicted of felony DUI causing grave bodily harm, two counts of DUI, leaving
the scene of accident resulting in the death of the victims, obstructing an
officer, reckless driving, and trying to flee from the authorities by means
that did not involve a vehicle, as reported by fredericknewspost.com.
If you are in serious trouble like
Felipe here you still deserve legal help. This is not Cuba which is a country
that throws away human lives because they are ran by immoral leaders and should
be punished for this but that is another topic. You can find a West Virginia

The accident was reported in the wee
hours of July 25th, 2015. The authorities upon receiving a phone
call rushed to the scene at Block 11200 Winchester Avenue to find a SUV lying
on its side, burned, and charred beyond recognition. The police found the
bodies of 2 women in the back seat of their car. They too were badly burned.
Later the two victims were identified as Ashley Nicole Jenkins and Ashley Long.
Police reports suggest that Felipe
struck a vehicle and then collided with a utility pole after losing control of
her vehicle at 11258 Winchester Avenue. This story was corroborated by the
driver of another vehicle which Felipe’s SUV had rear ended. Felipe and another
woman were found receiving treatment from medics at Sheetz Store at 7899 Winchester
Avenue which is 3 miles from accident site in Inwood, West Virginia.
When she was found by the trooper she
said that she was present at the crash site but had no idea how she ended up in
Inwood. But when the trooper started questioning the other woman she vanished
from the scene only to be traced later in a 7-Eleven store at 7672 Winchester
Ave, Inwood. How badly did she want that slurpy? Apparently bad enough to get
another charge on her sheet. Well, they do not serve slurpies in prison.
Kennedy said the Felipe refused a field
sobriety test but she commented later that she was intoxicated and driving at a
high speed. According to West Virginia accident lawyers, the state has adopted
the implied consent law where drivers agree to submit to sobriety tests when
they receive their license. Failure to submit to sobriety tests as in Felipe’s
case, results in automatic suspension driving privileges for one year.
Multiple
DUI Offender Prevented from Fleeing the Scene of Crash
Jason Boone and DJ Shalvey were out
riding bikes when they came across the scene of an accident in Wheeling, WV. As
reported by autoblog.com, the two friends spotted a man
wandering away from a damaged black SUV. They also heard cries coming from
inside the vehicle.
The man appeared inebriated and the
friends realized that he was the one who caused the crash and had come to check
his handiwork. The man asked the friends if they can give him a ride away from
the site but they refused and called the police. James Wilson had hit the
vehicle in which a mother and a child were traveling. Thankfully they were both
unhurt. This is Wilson’s third DUI and he is incarcerated for his actions at
North Regional Jail. One of the friends videotaped the incident. According to
West Virginia accident attorneys, a third time DUI offender can face between 1
to 3 years in prison and fines of up to $5,000.
Depending on how the first two DUIs went
down, he should possibly be locked up for longer than 3 years.
Some people just do not get it. It is
like they are allergic with sleeping it off in the car, calling a taxi, or
getting a friend. Wilson apparently cannot be trusted with his freedom anymore.
He also must enjoy wrecking his own cars.
West
Virginia Accident Laws
Remember, West Virginia is a comparative
fault state where compensation for a car accident claim is
based on the percentage of fault. Understanding these laws and your rights to
claim compensation in an accident is not easy. Therefore, we urge you to seek
legal counsel as early as possible.
If you have been injured
in an auto accident and wish to claim compensation, it would be judicious
to seek the assistance of a West Virginia accident lawyer. Your legal pro will
