The estates of two girls who lost their
lives in a car crash in which a former astronaut was allegedly driving under
the influence have filed wrongful death lawsuits

One of the responding law enforcement
officers testified under oath that Halsell seemed extremely intoxicated and
even attempted to drive away in the vehicle of a passerby who had stopped to
