One Dead in Chain Accident on Interstate 40

A woman lost her life in a chain reaction car crash that occurred on Interstate 40 in the proximity of the area where construction is underway. The accident site is close to Sycamore in Memphis, Tennessee. The crash involved five cars according to investigators, and another woman involved in the crash has been identified and charged in connection with the accident, as reported by wreg.com.

The woman was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion when she spotted a Honda Accord in front of her had broken down and stopped. The Fusion then proceeded to maneuver around the Honda Accord which is when another car, a Hyundai SGX, struck her. The driver of the 2008 Ford Fusion thus far is at fault unless the person driving the car that broke down (the Accord) could have put their car out of a driving lane and for whatever reason did not.

The SGX was driven by 23 year old Francis Barrios according to police reports. Both drivers were waiting at the scene for law enforcement officers to get there when a Chevrolet Tahoe smashed into Barrios’ stopped car and this set off a chain reaction accident.

Was Britney Herron (not the woman in the picture, not even close) a distracted driver? Only she knows but she is in trouble big time nonetheless.
The force of the impact from the Chevrolet Truck sent the Hyundai SGX crashing into the Ford Fusion which in turn hit the broken down Honda Accord, which in turn rear ended a 2015 Chevrolet Impala.

Francis Barrios was pronounced dead on the scene by emergency responders and a woman identified as Britney Herron, the driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe, has been charged with reckless driving, vehicular homicide, and financial responsibility, which is appropriate in such cases say Memphis, TN accident lawyers. However, evidence will play a vital role in determining any compensation claim for the accident and personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.

When waiting for the police, you should wait in a safe area but drivers like Herron need to be punished nonetheless. Barrio’s family needs to contact Accident.USAttorneys.com to be shown the right direction in terms of finding legal help. Or they can use this site to find a legal representative to help them receive the justice and financial compensation they deserve.

Girl that survived fatal car accident was put in a lawn chair in the car

As per a police report coming out of Knoxville Police Department, an 8 year old girl who survived a fatal car accident was sitting on a metal chair in the car in between the front passenger and driver seats. The vehicle itself has been identified as a Chevrolet van, according to wbir.com.

The girl is now under intensive care in East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and is in critical condition after she was flung into the wind shield of the car after the accident. The same accident took the life of her 4-year old sister Alleeah who was seated in the front passenger seat and was crushed by a metal pole.

Father charged in fatal crash

The father of the two girls, Donald Taylor, has been charged with a DUI in the accident after confessing to law enforcement officers that he had consumed a six pack of beer prior to getting behind the wheel of the car. He also faces charges of aggravated assault, and leaving the scene of an accident where there is a death or personal injury, which can lead to serious punishment and penalties say accident attorneys in Tennessee.

40 year old Taylor was operating the Chevrolet van and will not be winning any father of the year awards. He lost control of the vehicle, went off the road, and into a pole. He then kept driving for a few hundred meters before halting near Interstate 640. Not smart Taylor.
