Stockton Resident who allegedly Killed a Motorcyclist in DUI Accident makes Court Appearance

Luis Alberto Sanchez Manzo plowed his car into a Yamaha motorcycle driven by Tony Randle. The impact killed 31 year old Tony. Manzo appeared for his arraignment in front of the court judge of San Joaquin County. However, did not enter any plea. Michael Randle, Tony’s brother, said that he feels that the accident was an honest mistake but he feels no remorse for Manzo.

Manzo has been hit with a series of charges including child abuse, vehicular manslaughter while inebriated, DUI, and murder. A total of 6 felony charges have been slapped against him. Fox40.com found Manzo’s family members interacting with the Randle family and said that Manzo apologized for his actions. They also said that he was a father of four kids and that it was an accident.

They claimed he was not drunk. However, court records tell a different story. In the records it was clearly stated that Manzo was intoxicated when the accident happened. Furthermore he had a child in the car and is also a habitual DUI offender. California accident attorneys point out that anyone found to be DUI with a child in their vehicle is likely to face a child endangerment charge as was in Manzo’s case.

Tony Randle was attending Delta College for a business degree. He leaves behind a 12 year old daughter, four siblings, and his mother. Manzo’s bail was set at $2 million.
