Virginia Man Accused of Tax Fraud Pleads Guilty

A man identified as 35-year old Bradley King has pleaded guilty to charges of tax fraud filed against him by state prosecutors. The man was accused of and admitted to conspiring to defraud the nation, stealing public money, and also of supporting and furthering fraud. As reported by wusa9.com, it turns out that Bradley King was not alone in committing these crimes.

He certainly was not. The companies that took millions of dollars to build the broken website for the ACA, some people believe they should be charged for defrauding the nation.

Furthermore, he was one among 19 that were all involved in conspiring to commit fraud. King and his posse are responsible for a staggering 444 fraudulent tax returns with the Internal Revenue System (IRS). These 444 fraudulent filings were worth an astounding $1.5 million in refunds and they were all filed in between 2008 and 2015. The actual loss inflicted upon the treasury due to these fraudulent tax filings is estimated to be just shy of a half a million dollars.

Not good King! Not good at all!

Bradley King’s sentencing has been scheduled in mid-May. He may be sentenced to a maximum of 35 years in prison for his crimes as per the letter of the law and his tax lawyer/s are scrambling to save his life.

Republican Senate Pushing for Lower Tax Rates for the Middle Class in New York

Republican senators have drafted and proposed several income tax cuts which, if passed and put into effect, would reduce the tax rates for the middle class by over 25% in the coming ten years, according to pressconnects.com.

The proposal was made and will be heard in the Democratic controlled assembly where the Republican led senate will put forth their proposals. According to tax attorneys, a lot of Republican senators are also pushing for better and more abundant aid for upstate infrastructure in the budget.

The chairwoman of the financial committee, Cathy Young (R – Olean of Cattaraugus County), said in a verbal statement that these measures, devised by Republican senators, will serve to provide the much required tax relief to the hard working, middle class American families that are unfairly burdened with excessive tax rates currently.

Democrats want to Raise Tax Rates

Assembly Democrats also took a crack and reducing taxes for the middle class, but their proposal would see a surge in tax rates for the higher class mostly to compensate for the lower tax rates that the middle class would be subjected to, say tax lawyers. Democrats need enough money to continue paying people not work and handing out food stamps and other social welfare money to illegal immigrants and so on.

Democratic Assembly Speaker, Carl Heastie, had said in an interview with media personnel that the assembly does not believe that high class New Yorkers pay sufficient taxes and that they could certainly pitch in a little bit more. It is always a little more. Every year it is a little more. Though tax lawyers have seen wealthy folks leave New York for lower tax states, the Democrats in New York do not take notice to this fact. Buffalo has been ran by Democrats for decades and it is a decaying city for instance.

Along with the measures to cut tax rates for the middle class, the Republican senate will also push for a four year, $600 million budget solely to improve upstate infrastructure in New York.
