One Dead after Ramming into a Tree in a Springhill Road Accident

A man from Apalachicola, around 75 miles from Tallahassee, succumbed to his injuries after driving into a tree while speeding in a northerly direction on Springhill Road. As reported by Tallahassee.com, 28 year old Antowin O. Lewis is said to have lost control and failed to maneuver a curve on Springhill Road which then caused his Nissan Maxima to spin out of control and ram into a tree. The front half of the car slammed into the tree on the eastern shoulder of Springhill Road and caused the car to spin yet again and crash into another tree. Lewis was thrown out the vehicle and died at the scene.

Two reported dead in car accident in Florida

A two car crash that occurred in Volusia County, Florida, claimed the lives of two persons including one man from Springfield, according to a report released by Florida Highway Patrol.

News-leader.com reports that one of the deceased has been identified as 35 year old Ernest Stickle from Springfield. The fatal accident occurred on Interstate 4 where Stickle was travelling along in his Ford pick-up truck which was rear ended by a Ford Mustang travelling at high speeds. The impact of the crash caused the Ford Pick-up truck to be thrown over the guard rail.

The collision occurred at 10:25 p.m. according to the Florida Highway Patrol’s Crash Report and there were two other occupants along with Sickle in the Ford Pick-up truck. The other person killed as a result of the accident has been identified as Shane Fleming, a resident of Sanford. No charges have been filed yet as investigations into the cause of the accident continue. However, the other driver has been identified as George Justiniano from Deltona, Florida. Justiniano is said to have been wearing a seat belt during impact and suffered only minor injuries.


 Two dead and seven others injured in drunken West Delray car crash

An elderly man who was driving the wrong way ploughed into three oncoming cars on Linton Boulevard in West Delray and then went on to run over and kill a pedestrian say responding law enforcement officers that arrived on scene, according to sun-sentinel.com.

The senior citizen has been identified as 72 year old Alan J. Ziperstein who hails from Delray Beach. Ziperstein was driving in a 2015 BMW convertible.

While Ziperstein was killed in the accident, another pedestrian also died in the accident. Another driver is in a serious condition and 6 other people have suffered injuries as well. It is not yet known as to why Ziperstein was driving on the wrong side of the road and the accident is still under investigation.
