Why should they not? They are about as
smart as some of the politicians that write these laws and some of the judges
that enforce them. There are judges who give child molesters only 8 month
prison sentences!
Judge Jack Weil is one of the few that
strongly believes that toddlers aged 3 or so should be allowed to represent
themselves in immigration court and be allowed to testify
against their deportations. Sorry Mr. Weil, if their parents do not
know English and are only living in American poverty, they are better off back
in their home country.
The opponents challenge that 3 year olds
should be playing with their toys and not attempting to comprehend the
essentials of the American Judicial System as reported by The Christian Science Monitor. Well, these
three year olds can tell the judge and the court that living desperate in
America is not very fun.
Immigration lawyers know that Weil’s
sentiments arose in a lawsuit that was filed by the ACLU wherein Weil stated
that 3-4 year old toddlers can make a case for themselves without a legal
counsel. Further supporting his statement, Weil added that he had literally
taught immigration law to 3 or 4 year old toddlers and they were able to grasp
it. He said it took a lot of time and patience but it is something that can
definitely be achieved.
In recent years, America has seen a huge
surge in the number of children and toddlers that are entering the country
illegally because America is allowing it, America even pays them to come here
which allows Latin based countries to toss their responsibilities onto the
American tax payer. There is gang violence in America just like there is there.
Poor, non-English speaking children merge right into their local gang culture
hurting America even more. Immigration attorneys see this all the time.
Someone should tell Judge Weil that
America is broke and if it was not for the US military, Latin America would be
speaking German now or under the subjugation of German oppression. America has
done enough, other countries need to take care of their own problems not throw
their problems across the American border into America’s lap.
The sad truth about illegal child
immigration in America
In the three years ranging from 2012 –
2015, only 7,643 undocumented child immigrants were deported and 171,000 child
immigrants were stopped in their tracks at the border and turned away. Yes it
is undoubtedly sad that hundreds of thousands of children are facing such grim
prospects in their home countries, but at the same time, allowing all of them
to illegally enter the United States, mess up America’s classrooms, join gangs,
kill real Americans, and so on is not the solution.
Immigration lawyers believe that if the
US does not tighten up its immigration policies and enforcement methodologies
further, it could lead to things in America being just as bad as how it is in
the home countries of these children are running away from. Is it really that
bad or are American sanctuary cities enticing them to come here to pay them so
they can be future voters being dependent on the American government to
survive?
A majority of these child immigrants
come from countries such as Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. These are
warm countries where you do not need to work hard to remain warm. Why go to a
city like Chicago, freeze, be mistreated by local gangs, end up in an American
jail or be shot and killed in the streets?
Survey Indicates that Americans don’t
Like Immigration
According to a Bloomberg report, as many as 61% of
Americans are on the same page, the page that says allowing immigrants to enter
and stay in the country at current rates is bad for America and its citizens.
The study was conducted by management consultation company A.T. Kearney in
collaboration with market analyst’s NPD group.
Even the Republican candidate Donald
Trump has stated that he supports legal immigration to the US, but it seems
like the American public are even more to the right on the issue of immigration
that Donald Trump is since they are apprehensive even about legal immigration.
If you are under threat
of being deported, need help acquiring a visa to enter the United States, or if
you need to upgrade your immigration status, the best way to achieve
this would be by consulting an immigration lawyer as soon as possible.
