The marriage of one of Miami's highest
society couples seems to have come to end as reported by southfloridareporter.com. The couple was
married for 28 years, but have apparently hit a rough patch and called it
quits. Retired carnival cruise CEO Bob Dickinson is the husband in question.
His wife, socialite Jodi Dickinson, has filed for divorce.
Not all marriages end up happy which is a shame. |
In the divorce filing, Jodi (real name
Jo Lynn) has claimed that the reason for the split is irreconcilable
differences. This is permitted as a reason for divorce according to majestic
Sarasota, FL divorce lawyers. Furthermore, the divorce filing also seeks
alimony. As per the divorce papers, the couple were married on June 11th
in 1988. The couple did not have any children together and so there will be no child
support battles.
In response, Bob Dickinson and his
divorce attorney filed a counter petition in mid-August.
For many years the Dickinsons worked
tirelessly for multiple charities and even hosted several fund raising events
in order to raise funds for such charities and other non-profits. These are
real non-profits not agencies that serve to rip off America (see
the Russian Uranium deal) like The Clinton Foundation and who are designed
to make the founder super rich like The Clinton Foundation has done for the
Clintons.
Bob Dickinson is the chairperson of the
board of the Camilus House, a non-profit organization that provides catering to
the homeless to the best of their abilities. Following his noble charity work,
Gov. Rick Scott even appointed Bob Dickinson to the Florida Council on the
Homeless.
On the other hand, Jo Lynn Dickinson has
spent her time working for and with multiple animal welfare groups and animal
rights non-profit organizations.
Their joint beach island home in Coral
Gables is on the market for sale. The price was $8.3 million last year and has
now dropped to $6.2 million because the economy is so pathetic because of high
taxes and business damaging regulations. Florida divorce attorneys explain that
