Garbage Truck Accident in Pasadena, 1 Killed, 4 Injured

An accident involving a garbage truck that occurred in Pasadena in Anne Arundel County last week has claimed the life of one person and left four others injured say local state authorities. Baltimore, MD truck accident lawyers are not too happy about this at all.

As reported by CBS, investigators confirm that it was a chain accident that involved as many as 7 vehicles including the garbage truck.

According to eye witness statements and the testimonies of some of the surviving victims, the six cars were halted in the southbound lanes at a red light at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Jumper Hole Road when the garbage truck rear ended them at a substantial speed.

Baltimore, MD truck accident lawyers are needed in Baltimore just like they are needed everywhere else.
The driver of the truck was 55 year old Robert Peter Neal who comes from Abington.

One person was killed by the impact of the collision and was identified as 44 year old Janet Ellen Stomps. Neal and three others sustained minor to moderate injuries. He was transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore while the three others taken to another medical facility.

No charges have been filed in the case. However, law enforcement officers who are of the opinion that the garbage truck driver was at fault for not slowing down say it is only a matter of time before charges are brought against him. In such instances Baltimore, MD truck accident lawyers point out that a vehicular manslaughter charge is most likely while the victim’s estate will have the right to claim compensation for the accident via a wrongful death lawsuit.

Baltimore has some issues but Truck-Accident.USAttorneys are ready to help make things right and to send the right message that negligent truck driving is not acceptable.

The Family of a Hit and Run Victim Claim Baltimore Police Hung Up on Them

Wbaltv.com reports that a wheel chair bound woman identified as Pat Russel was seriously injured after a white box truck crashed into the car she was travelling which was then struck by another vehicle. The driver of the truck is said to have fled the scene without stopping after causing the accident.

Russell was initially admitted into the intensive care unit in Hopkins but has now been transferred to a medical facility in Harrisburg. The victim’s daughter says that she has attempted to contact Baltimore law enforcement many times and that they hung up on her on numerous occasions. Well, if you have seen The Wire, that is not surprising.

Baltimore is not a city that is managed well. It is ran by Democrats.
Shockingly, Russell’s daughter also alleges that one of the officer said that they were too busy with murders and other violent crimes (Marlo and Barksdale!) and did not have the time for a non-fatal accident. Maryland truck accident attorneys are of the opinion that these allegations were serious and appropriate action ought to be taken depending on the circumstances.

Legal Help is Available and Required

Truck accidents are governed by a separate set of laws which are exclusive to trucking operations. If you happen to be the victim of an accident involving a large commercial vehicle you will need to file a civil lawsuit in order to recover damages. For this, you will need the expertise of a Maryland truck accident lawyer to ensure you receive a fair settlement for your pain and suffering.
