Elderly Man in Wheelchair was Hit by a Car in Stonington

A senior man is in a critical medical condition after a car struck his motorized wheelchair and caused it to disintegrate where the seat and the wheels came apart. The accident occurred mid-week on Route 1 in the Pawcatuck area of Stonington near Mayflower Avenue, as reported by NBC.

Fairfield, CT accident lawyers have seen it all. Even people in a wheel chair being hit. Though it could be their fault too.
First responders on site were LifeStar and they flew the injured man to Rhode Island Hospital. Route 1 (also known as South Broad Street) was closed for a few hours, but reopened again on the same day but after so many people had their time wasted and also gas in their tank wasted.

According to a local law enforcement officer, Captain Todd Olson, the driver that crashed into the disabled old man remained on scene and is cooperating with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation.

No charges have been filed yet in the accident. According to Fairfield, CT accident lawyers, the police report and evidence will play a major role in establishing liability and any compensation claim for the accident.

2 Die on Route 8 after Being Involved in a Wrong Way Crash

A wrong way driver collided head on with another car on Route 8 earlier this week and caused the death of two persons identified as 30 year old Fernando J. Moreno-Rivas and 29 year old Kelly M. Wooten, according to ctpost.com. Rivas was a resident of Main Street in Stratford and Wooten was from Balance Rock Road in Seymour.

As per police reports, Moreno–Rivas was driving along in the southbound lane and was about to come up on Exit 13 when Wooten who was travelling north in the southbound lanes struck him head on. Both drivers sustained serious injuries and were declared dead on scene by responding emergency medical technicians. Evidence from the investigations will prove vital in any wrongful death lawsuit filed by any of the victims’ estate, point out Connecticut accident attorneys.

The person driving the wrong way is at fault. We have seen celebrities do this before such as Nicole Richie but she did not crash into anyone.

You need to press right here Accident.USAttorneys.com and find yourself that legal representative that can perhaps save you thousands of dollars or perhaps earn for you thousands of more dollars depending on which side the accident fault dial lands on.

Car Crash Victim Identified as Off-Duty Connecticut Firefighter

A car crash victim that died last weekend has been identified by local law enforcement officers as an off duty firefighter, as reported by patch.com. The accident occurred on Bishop Avenue near Connecticut Avenue late afternoon and it was a two car crash where multiple occupants in both cars had to be extracted by fire fighters and sustained injuries.

The deceased fire fighter has been identified as 34 year old Jimmie Jones who was an 8 year veteran at the fire department. His father is a retired Bridgeport firefighter. Jones had to be pulled out from the car by his own truck mates from ladder 6. Attempts to save his life were futile. Jones’ son was also an occupant in the car but survived the crash with a broken leg.

Evidence collected from the ongoing investigation could be used to support any accident claims and lawsuits according to Fairfield, CT accident lawyers.

Worst nightmare come true. No firefighter wants to see their fellow fire fighter's life hanging in the balance after a car crash.
