Bam Margera’s Wife gets DUI after Causing Accident

The Jackass star Bam Margera had wrecked his Porsche in an accident a few years ago and now it seems like it was his wife’s turn to get into an accident in the same Porsche, according to tmz.com. As per local law enforcement officers in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Nicole Boyd was driving drunk when she crashed into a Hyundai.

That Porsche just has bad luck.

The other driver insists that Boyd ran a red light and caused the accident, but Boyd herself is adamant that she had a green light. Tow trucks had to tow away both cars from the accident scene. The driver of the Hyundai was transported to hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Boyd escaped without any injuries, but responding law enforcement officers said that she smelt of alcohol and they subjected her to field sobriety tests in which she fared badly. This is the number one evidence that police look for in order to subject the suspect to a blood test say expert West Chester, PA DUI lawyers.

Bam Margera purchased the now banged up Porsche in 2011 and only shortly afterwards was side swiped while driving it. He is known for struggling with alcoholism. His best friend, Ryan Dunn, was drunk when he died in a high speed car crash and now his wife is facing a DUI charge. One would think she would know better.

Parents of Drunk Driving Victims Push for Stricter DUI Laws in Pennsylvania

Moms and dads who have lost children to drunk drivers are all valiantly in support of lawmakers who are proposing stricter DUI laws in the state of Pennsylvania, as reported by wfmz.com. DUI attorneys in Chester County, PA welcome the move.

Maggie Hannagan, a mother who lost her two children Miles and Charlotte to a drunk driver in 2015, said to media personnel that her children were dead because of the loose laws which condone driving under the influence. Miles and Charlotte died after a drunk driver slammed his car into their minivan on Route 100 at North Ship Road in Uwchlan Township, Chester County.

Maggie Hannagan and her husband Paul Hannagan are part of the Pennsylvania Parents against Impaired Drivers and the group is pushing for as many as 18 bills which are currently in the State house and Senate to be passed. All of these bills are aimed towards addressing driving under the influence, which West Chester, PA DUI lawyers believe will act as a major deterrent to drunk driving. It probably will not but at least it will punish drunk drivers more.

Hopefully they have a designated driver.
One of the bills will make it mandatory for drivers with first time DUI convictions to have to have all their vehicles installed with ignition interlock devices.

A Top Priority

If you are the victim of a drunk driving accident and need to know how to get compensated for your damages, don’t hesitate to call a Pennsylvania DUI lawyer today.
