Two Vehicle Crash in Nashville Kills One

Suk Rai, the driver of a Nissan Altima, was killed when he failed to yield to a speeding Lamborghini driven by Kyle Kirchner, 27. The Lamborghini was rented from Music City Dream Cars. Nashville police says that the accident happened at Nolensville Pike on the 4800 block. The scene is in proximity of Northcrest Drive.

The surveillance video in possession of newschannel5.com shows the speeding red Lamborghini just before the accident. Eye witness Willie Rios was working at his body shop when he saw the car speed past and then heard the crash. He claims that the car must have been travelling at 100mph. Rios heard the noise but he didn’t actually see the crash. He also heard a lot of people crying as someone had been killed in the accident.

Police said that at the moment they had not filed any charges. Kirchner was taken to a nearby hospital for a blood test but there was no presence of alcohol or drugs in his system.

An officer at the scene said that they will reconstruct the scene to determine whether speed was the cause or there were other factors that contributed to the accident. All this evidence could prove vital in a compensation claim following the accident and Nashville, TN accident lawyers are all over case trying to see the different angles.

Crash Kills One Teenager in Smyrna

After attempting to burgle a gun and pawn store in Smyrna, six teenagers fled in a pick-up, pursued closely by law enforcement agents. The officers chased the truck for about half a mile before deploying spike strips. The driver lost control of the vehicle thereafter hitting a pole and colliding with a tree, as reported by newschannel5.com

Running from the law is not good. If you get into an accident then, it is even worse. You will need a Nashville, TN accident lawyer which can also be a Nashville criminal defense lawyer.
Kevin Arnold Chief of Smyrna Police department said that the police discovered two teens at the bed of the vehicle. The responders transported them to the hospital where one was declared dead and the other was in a critical condition. The name of the dead teen was later released by the police as Kevonte Jernigan 19, resident of Nashville.

It is a lot better just remaining at home reading a book. Many people wonder why people resort to this type of stuff. Carrying an illegal gun is a crime in itself.

The police chief has described the incident as unfortunate. He said that the boys did something silly and as a result of which one of the families will suffer from the impact. Three suspects have fled on foot crossing the creek to the other side. Even though a search operation was launched, the suspects remain untraced. People will talk eventually and with fingerprints in the vehicle, these suspects will be caught at some point.

Because of high taxes and tough regulations, there are less opportunities for Americans but committing crimes is not a viable solution,
Getting into an accident is one thing, fleeing from the police because you were trying to steal something and then running from the police after you crashed the car - that is something extra. You need more than an accident lawyer, you will also need a criminal defense lawyer as well. The good news is that both can be one in the same. Many lawyers can work in both or either field, accident or criminal law. If you committed some crimes it does not mean you have to be stuck with the full penalties of both or either, click right here (Accident.USAttorneys.com) to find the legal help you now need.

Do not be a victim of the law, be its partner.

Personal Injury laws in Tennessee

Tennessee accident attorneys point out that the victim has a year from the date of the crash to file a personal injury civil suit against the at-fault driver. Tennessee is a shared fault state. This means that when a victim submits a claim with the other driver’s insurer or files a personal injury lawsuit, the other party might insist that the claim is unjustified because the victim was partly responsible for the accident.

If the defendant is able to prove that the plaintiff had a partial role in the accident the judge will reduce the award and calculate the compensation based comparative fault rule. This may come into play with the Suk Rai case discussed above, Suk Rai may not have had the right away.

This means that if the judge believes you are 20% at fault and your claim is $10,000 then you will get $2,000 less i.e. $8,000. If your fault is over 50% you will get no compensation and Nashville, TN accident lawyers inform clients of this all the time.

If you wish to sue the driver who caused you physical pain and emotional distress following an auto accident, make sure to speak with a Tennessee accident lawyer to know the local laws and to make sure you are compensated fairly.
