Trumbull Police Department said that New York resident 27 year old Henry
Russell had just pulled out from a gas station situated on White Plains Road
and was driving on the left side of the road when his car collided with a north
bound vehicle. The accident killed Allen and Virginia Finkenaur were killed
later from the injuries on Dec. 22nd, 2015. Russell was arrested
over a month later, as reported by trumbulltimes.com.
Police later said the Russell hails from the UK and had recently moved to
the US. He has very little exposure to the road conditions and hence it was a
mistake that led to the tragic loss of lives. The couple had lived in Trumbull
for 43 years. They were both 91 years old. Allen died 3 days after the crash on
Christmas Day at St. Vincent Medical center in Bridgeport, CT, and Virginia a

The couple was together for 71 years and had celebrated their anniversary
on Oct. 17th 2015. They are survived by four daughters. Russell was
