Family members called the car accident a

According to authorities from the
Missouri State Highway Patrol, Highway 50 is one of the state's most deadliest
highways where multiple fatal car accident have occurred in the past.
The deceased have been identified as 47
year old Alicia McGinnis and her 8 year old daughter Kacee McGinnis.
Investigators believe that the cause of the car accident was driver error
(failure to yield to oncoming traffic). Both mother and daughter were pronounced
dead at the scene.
The Jeep which struck Alicia's car was
occupied by two 20 year olds who survived the auto accident with minor injuries
