Tammy Harris should have drank more water like the woman in the picture and if she did that she would not need a Summerville, SC DUI lawyer nor be on the verge of seeing serious prison time. |
As reported by postandcourier.com, the accident
occurred midweek and accident investigators described the crash as a high speed
head on collision in which another woman also from Summerville was killed. The
accident site has been identified in police reports as Miles Jamison Road near
Summerville.
The victim has been identified by local
enforcement authorities as 58 year old Cindy Wolf who is from Braley Drive in
Summerville. Wolf was rushed to Medical University Hospital after the crash but
was pronounced dead shortly after she was admitted into the medical facility.
Harris was driving a 2004 Mercedes and
Braley was in a 2003 Toyota. According to expert accident re-constructionists,
Harris’ Mercedes crossed the center line and ploughed head on into the oncoming
2003 Toyota.
Harris only sustained minor injuries and
is in a stable medical condition.
Harris was out on bail after being
arrested in December 2012 for the possession of an illegal substance.

If you need DUI legal help in South Carolina, you need to call up DeLuca & Maucher, LLP. That is certainly one favor you could do for yourself. |
McDermott was an assistant football
coach of the Anderson University baseball team. He was slapped with felony
charges in connection with the accident where his blood alcohol level
registered almost three times the maximum legal limit.
As part of the DUI plea bargain, McDermott was
sentenced to 18 years in prison and a fine. If he had received the maximum
sentence in the case, he would have faced a total prison sentence of 135 years
and not too many Summerville, SC DUI lawyers would have felt sorry for him and
if you want the best legal help that exists in this region you need to call up DeLuca
& Maucher, LLP since they have won thousands and thousands of dollars for
past clients and their winning ways continue.
However, the judge in the case and the
surviving loved ones of the victims saw that McDermott was genuinely remorseful
and that he took ownership for what had happened and hence allowed for the plea
bargain to go through.
A DUI conviction has the potential to
ruin your life. The consequences of a conviction can include a short prison
term, fines, probation, ignition interlock devices, and so on.
