Separated Oklahoma Couple Battle over $46,000 Engagement Ring

When G. Edward Evans proposed to Jennifer Saba with a $46,000 engagement ring in August of 2015, this was not the route in which he imagined his marriage would go. The separated couple now find themselves in opposing ends of a lawsuit which is primarily premised around the expensive ring itself, as reported by news9.com.

Why would a wife want so much money in something like a ring? That is like 4 serious vacations in one item! Vanity!
Evans’ divorce attorney says that the couple had an agreement and it was decided that in case the marriage was to fail, then the ring would be the property of G. Edward Evans. However, as per the lawsuit, Jennifer Saba (who picked out the ring back in 2015 prior to their marriage) is not willing to hand over the prized possession.

Someone seems to be greedy. It is all about material items to some people. Why buy a ring worth that much anyhow?

According to expert Tulsa, OK divorce lawyers, the legal debate will focus on determining whether the ring was given from Evans to Saba as an immediate no holds bar gift or whether it was handed over with some strings attached. Some conditions and requirements which if not met would mean that they ring was not something Saba can keep for herself.

The lawsuit further alleges that Saba deceived law enforcement officers into letting her gain access into Evans’ house and then make away with the ring, expensive watches, kitchen appliances, a laptop, and also two rare and expensive bottles of bourbon which all belonged to Evans. And the police just let her do this?

Jennifer Saba seems to be all about herself. You cannot take those possessions with you into the next world. You have to earn what you have.
