Pedestrian walking on Highway 152 killed in traffic crash

A 20 year old man identified as Rahsaan Hadley was tragically killed in a road accident after a tractor trailer crashed into him midweek on highway 152 in the early hours of the morning, according to a Fox News report.

As per accident investigators, Hadley was walking along the shoulder of Highway 152 and was headed in an easterly direction when the tractor trailer ran him over in the proximity of Green Hills Road. According to Kansas City, MO accident lawyers, any video footage from CCTVs and the trailer’s dashcam can play a vital role in determining liability and any compensation claim following the accident

The first emergency responder to arrive at the scene was a Platte County deputy, who attempted to revive Hadley by administering CPR, but the deputy’s efforts were in vain as just a few minutes later, Hadley was pronounced dead on scene.

The highway remained closed for three hours after the accident occurred while accident investigators examined the crash site, collected measurements, and interrogated the driver that was behind the wheel of the tractor trailer.

Cars will stop driving into homes when they begin to drive themselves.
Investigators are yet to ascertain why Hadley was walking on the road at such a late hour. The accident still remains under investigation, as it is not known why the driver was unable to stop in time. It was probably because the vehicle was so large, so much kinetic energy in motion, it was hard to stop in time.
