According to BDN Maine, earlier this year soon after his arrest, the DA’s office filed six charges against the singer that include domestic violence assault, domestic violence, criminal threatening, and obstructing the report of a crime apart from other charges such as criminal restraint and criminal mischief. Don McLean has pleaded not guilty, however, is committed to stand to trial on all six charges.
