Bill that may Provide College Education to Students with Immigration Issues to be Considered Again

16 year old Miguel Garcia took part in an 8th grade school debate for the sake of debating. However, he quickly realized that he could make a difference and actually have a real life impact on the topic that was being debated. The debate is what caused Garcia to realize that he was actually interested in politics and law and may be that is something he wanted to do for a living.

What? Pass more laws?

The 16 year old Garcia is still a student at Ridgeway High and aspires to become an immigration lawyer or a judge when he grows up and probably wants the tax payer to pay for his rent and cell phone too. He has already gone to Nashville with a group known as Latino Memphis in order to further propagate legislation which favors granting in state tuition at public universities to students like Garcia himself that have certain immigration related issues and could facilitate a college education for such immigrant students, as reported by commercialappeal.com.

So he wants free stuff without working for it? Sounds like too many Americans already. That is why America is $19.5 trillion in debt. Miguel Garcia needs to understand that America does not need any more unskilled laborers but people with skills and who know English.

Too bad this group cannot figure that out!

Free High School, How about Free College Too!

In 2015 the bill was endorsed by many other immigration groups such as The Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition. Furthermore, it was also somewhat supported by some business organizations such as The Greater Memphis Chamber, The Tennessee Board of Regents, and The Tennessee Farm Bureau, etc. and was nearly passed in a Republican controlled legislature but enough Republicans struck it down since they realized that high school is already free, is that not enough? High school is paid for and high school graduates can barely read. Why water down college as well?

Many other business organizations did not want to pass this bill. The tax payer already has enough of a burden on its shoulders.

These business organizations actually run tech schools, community colleges, and other four year educational institutions such as the University of Memphis so more people in college benefits them but not really the tax payer. So they were supporting this bill but not really for altruistic purposes.

The bill came close to being passed last year. In a unanimous vote, 49 senate members voted for its passage and 47 voted against it. Even though there were a higher number of yes votes, the bill needed a minimum 50 yes votes to have been passed through in the 99-member house after it was had already passed through the state house say immigration attorneys.

If everyone has a college degree, what does that mean? That does not mean there will be more jobs.

The law maker responsible for proposing and propelling the bill into the senate is State Rep. Mark White who has verbally stated that he and his team have not given up on the bill and they are looking forward to raising it again this year. Since the bill had already passed the senate in 2015, it need not go through senate approval again and will only be subjected to another vote in the state house where it lost by one vote previously. Perhaps next time it will lose by two votes.

One Immigration Lawyer believes America, the Bankrupt Tax Payer, should Give Every Illegal Child an Immigration Lawyer

A lawsuit filed by the immigration lawyer of nine immigrant children currently being processed for deportation argues and challenges the notion that immigrant children can represent themselves in their immigration/deportation cases, according to a Reuters report.

The objective of the lawsuit is to get the federal government to appoint lawyers to each and every child facing deportation. So the tax payer is hammered again? So the American tax payer is being beaten up no matter what direction they turn too. Many people believe the children should be with their family and they should all be deported together. America has enough unskilled laborers and should not have people driving in this country that does not know English.

If you need help with upgrading your immigration status, or if you need to apply for a visa, work permit, green card, or even citizenship, the best thing to do would be to consult an immigration lawyer as soon as possible.
