New Yorkers have to Endure a Long Wait to get Divorced

As reported by nypost.com, the reason a lot of divorcing couples from New York have to wait for a long time for their marriage to be legally dissolved in because there are several divorce cases pending and the backlog needs to be first cleared before they can get to new cases.

If you need a divorce lawyer go to USAttorneys.com. This website may not as monumental as the discovery of deriving clean water from boiling it but it is pretty close to it. Click and call!
It appears the mismanagement of the state of New York runs in all circles. New York is struggling because they refuse to allow oil shale development which is costing this state so much money in revenue and jobs it cannot be ascertained. New York is also struggling for many other reasons as well.

The massive backlog is causing unhappy couples to stay married to each other until the slow judicial system finally gets around to it. Over a shocking 4,500 divorce cases were yet to be finalized last year, which is a 10% increase since 2011. There is a solution to this: do not get married in New York and based on how that state is managed, you should consider not living there too.

Even uncontested cases, where all the terms of the divorce have already been worked out through mediation or other means, but still need a judge to finally sign off on it and make the divorce official, also seem to be piling up by the hundreds.

Divorce lawyers say the issue with most divorces is when couples were married for a long term and have children together and are contesting the terms of the divorce. This is when things can get complicated and the case can sometimes take years to be finalized.

To add to the lag, the courtrooms are supposedly understaffed and this makes it a real challenge to move divorce cases in and out at a decent pace. Sometimes, the cases are expedited and cleared quickly, but this rate of work is not sustainable and it reverts back to being slow.

New York in the past did not have no-fault divorces and what that essentially means is that the spouse filing for divorce had to prove fault as a grounds for a divorce.

Things that would qualify as fault include adultery, drug addiction, alcoholism, physical abuse, and so on say divorce attorneys. However, no-fault divorce is now legal and couples can merely cite irreconcilable differences or marriage irretrievably broken as reasons for the divorce and the court will be obliged to accept these grounds of divorce.

Divorce lawyers know that not all marriages last.
This should ideally have made things a lot faster in terms of the number of cases being wrapped up annually. However, so far, this is not what has transpired. Instead, the number of divorces being filed has increased sharply since the introduction of the no-fault divorce. Well, too many people get married without really knowing their spouse.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson headed for divorce?

Radaronline.com reports that after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's out of the blue divorce, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson could be headed in the same direction. An insider source says that the couple has been caught up in a vicious circle and that their marriage has hit a really rough patch. Perhaps Rita saw Bridge of Spies and realized how can someone spend that much time defending a communist spy and care so much for that person when many Americans do not have that much support if they are in trouble with the law?

Rita may have just realized Bridge of Spies was illogical and preposterous. Since Tom Hanks played in that movie he must believe that a communist spy deserves that much care, that could bother many Americans on a number of levels.

Reportedly, they fell out over their $26 million bungalow which ended up with Rita Wilson storming out of the house raging. The couple has been married for 28 years. Forget Bridge of Spies, it looks like it was money or some other reason they are having problems. Sully was pretty dull as well.

If you need help with the legal challenges in terminating your marriage, talk to a divorce lawyer today. This is the best way to protect your rights and receive a fair settlement.
