Hilarious! Listen to the police or else!
Only fake Americans dishonor the police anyhow. DUI lawyers in Ventura, CA know
that the road does not belong to any driver, you need not be a jerk to the
police while driving a car and if you need legal assistance, press right here Divorce.USAttorneys.com.
DUI lawyers in Ventura, CA and everyone else knows it is not too hard to role down your window. |
The driver of a car that rolled (pun intended a little) into a
DUI checkpoint was ordered by law enforcement officers to roll his window all
the way down and hand them his license and registration, but the driver failed
to comply. Instead, he only rolled his window three-quarters of the way down
and gave the officers his paper work.
As reported by
photographyisnotacrime.com, the refusal did not go down well with the law
enforcement officers who after requesting the man to comply a few more times,
ordered a tow truck to latch onto the car and drive it away from the men
recording the DUI stop. They did this while the occupants of the car were still
inside.
Furthermore, the car driver was then
arrested on charges which are unknown despite the fact that he was not visibly
impaired nor did he show any other signs of drunkenness or intoxication.
According to statements made by
witnesses, the California Highway Patrol officer who was dealing with the
driver called out to Hawthorne Police Lieutenant Ty Goetz who claimed that the
driver violated the rules of the DUI checkpoint
and had the car towed with the occupants still inside. While there is no law
that drivers must roll down their windows completely, DUI lawyers in Ventura,
CA point out that is the norm.
For the most part, California has
adopted the implied consent law where motorists automatically give their
consent to submit to sobriety tests when their license is issued. Failure to do
so can result in automatic suspension of the driver’s license for one year in
addition to fines and other penalties that can include jail time.
However, DUI attorneys in California
also reiterate that there is no penalty for refusing to take a preliminary
alcohol screening (PAS) breath test as long as the car driver is 21 or over.
It seems like Lieutenant Gotze is tired
of people disrespecting the police and tired of DUI drivers destroying lives
and families. It is not hard to roll down your window. If you cannot do
something so simple, perhaps you should not be on the road. Driving is a
privilege, not a right!

good!
