The probe into the alleged abuse was led
largely by Kentucky State Police and the Kentucky Office of Inspector General
and Adult Protective Services. The lawsuit lists the names of two residents who
are the supposed victims of abuse. All three defendants are former employees of
Edmondson Center Nursing Home, which is where the alleged abuse transpired and
the two victims identified in the lawsuit were both residents in the same
nursing home.
Nursing home abuse attorneys point out
that the type of abuse mentioned in the lawsuit is disturbing. The lawsuit
claims that the abuse involved things such as pinching the noses and breasts of
residents, dropping a naked resident into bed, shoving a gloved finger down a
resident’s mouth, and then slapping the resident.
Some people may believe Jerry Snyder
feels helpless and weak in his life so he takes it out on people that are
weaker than him.
