Potentially Disturbing Lawsuit Charged against Fenton Nursing Home Dismissed

(Oakland, MI) – June 27th, 2016 – A federal lawsuit brought against Fenton Healthcare Center in Michigan has been dismissed. According to mlive.com, the suit was raised as a part of an investigation against the nursing home for potential neglect of patients as well as drug abuse.

Lawsuit against Crestmont Nursing Care Center, Inc.

Incidentally, a lawsuit was also filed against Crestmont Nursing Care Center, Inc. by the advocacy service. They claimed that there were allegations of abuse and neglect against 10 patients at their Trealout Drive nursing home facility as a result of surveys conducted between May and November 2015.

According to Crestmont’s spokesperson, Annaliese Imprink, they have a relatively new management team that was working towards improving the care and services.

Another family member of a resident of Crestmont, Tracy Coleman, whose mother was moved to the facility following a stroke, says that the staff is not responsive. She claims to have left over 40 messages but did not receive any call from the administration. She believes that the facility ought to be held accountable for the lack of care.
