4 Children Hospitalized after Truck Accident Involving a Semi and 3 Cars

An auto accident which occurred on Interstate 270 last week is under investigation by Franklin County Sherriff's Office. As reported by NBC, the accident caused the closure of portion of I-270.

As per police reports, four vehicles were travelling in a westerly direction on I 270 when a semi-trailer truck rear ended a Chevy passenger car and the impact of the collision sent both vehicles crashing into the rear of a Toyota.

The semi-truck driver was transported to hospital with injuries said to be of a non-life threatening nature. He has been identified as 39 year old Inderjit Samara. The Chevrolet driver has been identified as 41 year old Samuel Mosley and he too suffered non-life threatening injuries and has been hospitalized for treatment. Mosley, his wife and their four children were all occupants of the Chevy. Mosley's wife did not suffer any serious injuries, but all of their four children were hospitalized and are being treated for injuries.

The Toyota was occupied by a learner driver Trent Tipton who is 15 years of age and his father Gary was in present in the car. Neither of them suffered any serious injuries.

A fourth car, a Ford, was also involved. None of the occupants of the Ford were injured, but the car was damaged.
