GM Ignition Switch did not Cause Accident Says Texas Jury

Jurors in a car accident case have determined that a GM ignition switch could not be blamed as the cause of the accident. As reported by dallasnews.com, the auto accident caused the death of one driver and left another injured. The trial in the case began on August 9th, but the jury only took two hours of deliberation prior to reaching a decision.

This is the third courtroom win for the car manufacturers this year alone said a spokesperson for GM. Too bad this company still owes the American tax payer $16 billion. This company was bailed out being the epitome of corporate welfare. This was another terrible decision by the Obama Administration. This is what the bankruptcy process is for!

Texas accident attorneys explain that the suit was filed by Zachary Stevens and his parents who claimed that the ignition switch in Stevens' Saturn had jostled off and caused him to lose control of the car and this is what resulted in the car accident. The Saturn hit another car and killed its driver. Stevens himself suffered from a skull fracture and a traumatic brain injury in the auto accident.

At least she wore her seat belt.
