George McLeod Jr., a Mitchell County
resident recently succumbed to injuries sustained in a May 16th accident
in Colquitt County, as reported by moultrieobserver.com. The victim was the
second person to be killed on the county’s roads over a four day period.

McLeod was operating a semi rig around midnight on Ellenton-Omega Road when he

sentenced to five years in prison and five years’ probation. According to

The sentencing stems from an April 22nd,
