Ex-Nurse and Employee of Nursing Home Charged with Patient Abuse

A woman identified by local authorities as 45 year old Petula Davis has been charged with patient abuse according to a godanriver.com report. Allegedly, Davis abused a patient who suffers from dementia. Her charge sheet lists three counts of abuse of an incapacitated adult patient as per Danville General District Court Warrants.

The suspect was a former employee at Roman Eagle Memorial Home which is located on North Main Street. Her designation at this nursing home was a certified nurse and caregiver and it is at this nursing home that Davis supposedly abused a female patient inflicted with dementia.
She is charged with three counts of patient abuse because there are three instances of abuse alleged by prosecutors which all apparently occurred within January 29th and March 15th.

Court documents detail rather disturbing allegations that the assault in question included shaking the patient violently, pulling the patient’s hair, spitting in her mouth, and even wrapping her up in her own gown. These are common types of abuse, reiterate nursing home abuse lawyers.

It does not look good for Petula Davis. This is almost as bad as emailing classified information on an unprotected server 110 times while enriching some corrupt foundation by the millions. Hillary knows all about this.

Davis was taken into custody on June 26th.

87-Year Old Nursing Home Resident Slapped with Sexual Battery Charge

Caregivers at Latana nursing home walked into an 84 year old resident of a nursing home performing oral sex on a 94 year old male resident who suffers from Parkinson disease, as reported by palmbeachpost.com.

The witnessing of this absurdity has now resulted in the arrest of the 84 year old suspect identified as Louis Lawson, who appeared in court in a wheel chair. His roommate testified against him saying he “would screw anything that walked” and was “oversexed”. Nursing home abuse attorneys are sickened by this.

Staffers of the nursing home also chipped in to further support this notion saying that Louis was known for touching himself and even grabbing or fondling staff members. Louis Lawson needs to be in solitary confinement or just put down. Louis Lawson is obviously not right in the head.

The facility in which the incident occurred was formerly known as the Finnish-American Resting Home and that the facility had been reviewed by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration in the past.

Some people are perhaps a lost cause. We just do not have the time nor the money.
According to state records back in December, it was found by the State that the nursing home had not met acceptable standards of investigation in a verbal abuse case and in another case had failed to properly document suspicious bruising on one their residents. These are some things to look out for when selecting a nursing home facility for your loved one, recommend nursing home abuse lawyers.
