Fisherman from Grand Isle Convicted of Sixth DUI

Police in Grand Isle have confirmed that a local fisherman identified as 44 year old Rocky Burnham has been convicted for driving under the influence for the sixth time.

Man from Gretna Given 20 Years for Causing Fatal DUI Accident

A Gretna man has been given a 20 year prison sentence after being convicted in a drunk driving accident which claimed the life of a Westwego man. The defendant in the case is 56 year old Michael Burrle. The deceased has been identified as 53 year old Don Dauzat.


Burrle pleaded guilty to his charge of vehicular homicide, which carries one of the harshest punishments according to New Orleans, LA drunk driving accident lawyers.
