The Florida House has taken a firm
stance by passing a sweeping immigration measure and calling for all cities and
counties within the state to follow it to the word. In fact, immigration
lawyers following the story tell us that those officials that fail to enforce
the law may be removed from office for doing so. The law essentially penalizes
those persons that do not comply and cooperate with federal immigration
officers and other immigration authorities, as reported by NBC Miami.
Florida is not alone in these efforts to
curb illegal immigration. It is one state among seven that have employed
similar measures on cities referred to as sanctuary cities. The law was passed
after an 80-38 vote was declared in its favor. It is only logical. America does
not have the money nor the resources to take care of every illegal alien or
every person in a 3rd world country.
Americans Matter Too
State Rep. Larry Metz spoke to press and
media personnel and shared his sentiments that while many undocumented
immigrants are good people overall, it was still imperative that local
authorities follow these new measures as intended.
A study that was conducted by Pew
Research Center in 2012 estimated that there was a staggering 925,000
unauthorized immigrants living in just the state of Florida, which can be
attributed to President Obama’s loose policies on immigration. Immigration
attorneys say that that number surely must have increased substantially over
the last four years and crime and joblessness against and for Americans,
respectively, have increased. Illegal aliens cause more problems in America
than they do solving any problems.
Rep. Metz also added to his comments
that just because an immigrant was a good person, it does not mean that they
should be allowed into the country on solely those grounds. He said that there
were just way too many good people all over world and it would not be pragmatic
for America to just allow all of them into the country. They do not even speak
English and do not have any skills to pay for themselves.

Immigration – Hot Topic in GOP 2016 Presidential
Contest
As we have all been witnessing,
immigration is certainly one of the biggest talking points in the presidential
debates so far and will continue to be so. The candidates so far have proven to
be a rather eclectic mix and have a wide view of opinions on immigration, some
are far right, some are far left and some are somewhere in between.
Rep. Larry Metz however is not swayed or
influenced by these debates say Florida immigration lawyers, the only reason he
filed the bill was because of an incident that occurred in Florida back in 2015
where a woman was maliciously shot and killed by an illegal immigrant from
Mexico, for whom we have Obama’s immigration policies to blame once again.
There have also been far too many cases
across the country where we have seen countless times people are killed, beaten,
or raped or sometimes all three by illegal immigrants that should never have
been in the country in the first place. But liberals in America believe these
illegals will be able to vote one day for Democratic politicians who promise
them more food stamps and welfare payments so everything else does not matter.
Scary.
Metz says that these kinds of things are
a repercussion of having sanctuary policies, and that is precisely why he is against
such lenient policies existing in Florida. Some immigration lawyers agree with
this standpoint.
Most or all Republican politicians
believe Metz has nothing against immigrants, his issue is with “illegal” immigrants.
If someone wants to come into the
country, there is a legal way to achieve that. Illegal immigration does not pay
in the long run because all decent jobs in America require some sort of skill
or the ability to know English. If you need help renewing
