Washington County PD said that a two-vehicle collision happened in an
intersection of Buena Vista Boulevard and Red Cliff Parkway just after 5 pm in
which two people were injured. The crash happened between a car driven by a
woman and a pickup truck in which two men were traveling, as reported by stgeorgeutah.com. The women turned left on
Green Springs Drive and crashed into the pickup truck that was coming from the
other direction.
The crash rendered the vehicles immobile
causing a traffic snarl at the intersection. The impact deployed airbags in the
vehicles and possibly saved the occupants from some grave injuries. The woman
suffered from broken bones and was taken by emergency responders to Dixie
Regional Medical Center. The passengers of the other vehicles too were taken to
the hospital for evaluation. Thankfully everyone had their seat belts strapped
