A sobering report, no, not America’s
unemployment rate or the fact that Hillary compromised and jeopardize US
classified secrets 113 times, which has uncovered appalling short comings in
nursing homes has come to light earlier last week after the state released it
on Thursday, as reported by bostonglobe.com.
According to the report, nurses, nursing
aides and other staffers at Braemoor Health Center were not only under trained,
but were also not equipped with a lot of the necessary equipment which would
have been required to revive a now deceased patient with dementia who was
suffering from a heart attack.
If you have a loved one who is in a
nursing home that is even close to being this horrendous, pick up the phone!

Nursing
home fails to report death
Furthermore, the nursing home also
failed to report the death to the state health department, which is mandatory
according to nursing home abuse lawyers. Nurses told investigators that they
did not report the death because supposedly the patient did not have any
family.
Later on, the nursing home administrator
told reporters that the clinical team at the nursing home unanimously decided
not to report the death since the nursing home had recently got some bad press
and wanted to avoid further negative publicity.
The report is 70 pages long and has really
painted a picture of the terrible standards that prevailed in the nursing home.
Nursing home abuse attorneys point out that from the report it is clear that
the nursing home was in chaos. Now they really have bad press! You are not a
high powered Democrat like Lois Lerner or Hillary Clinton, only they are above
the law!
To begin with, the staff was not trained
to acceptable standards at all, machines needed to deliver lifesaving oxygen
were empty, equipment which is used to restore a regular heartbeat during
cardiac arrhythmia was defective, and alarms designed to go off when patients
with dementia would wander off the premises of the nursing homes were missing. That
is almost as bad as Obamacare!
The report stemmed from an investigation
which was not pre-planned and was a surprise investigation so to speak which
was initiated after a tip off about the low standards of healthcare and
infrastructure at the Braemoor nursing home. Nursing home abuse lawyers are
none too pleased!
The parent company of the nursing home
is Synergy Health Centers of New Jersey. The nursing home located at Braemoor
is one of eleven nursing homes owned and operated by the parent company. The
company has officially released a statement saying they are coordinating with
state health departments and are working in unison with these departments in
order to improve health the standards at their nursing homes all across
Massachusetts – the state that is being blasted by Obamacare and certainly
its small businesses.
The company has reportedly submitted a
detailed and extensive plan to the state departments of health in which they
have detailed how they will go about increasing the standards of healthcare and
equipment in their nursing homes, where they will get the resources to do this,
and how they will allocate finances for this purpose.
