A tow truck driver led police on a pursuit after he allegedly ran over a Philadelphia law enforcement officer who was making a routine traffic stop, as reported by NBC. Philadelphia, PA DUI lawyers will be involved in this case, you can count on that.
If you need a Philadelphia, PA DUI lawyer, use USAttorneys.com. That website may not have shaped humankind like the invention of the keyboard but it has come pretty close. This website saves lives and it does it everyday.

The car accident occurred in the Manayunk neighborhood close to Shurs Lane, which is a populated area.

The police officer and victim has been identified as 55 year old Joseph Cain Jr. and he was knocked out of his shoes as per the Philadelphia Police Department. Cain is a law enforcement officer in the 5th district of the Philadelphia law enforcement unit and has served the force for as many as 26 years.

A video tape obtained by the Philadelphia police from a nearby surveillance camera shows Cain standing by a vehicle and talking to another law enforcement officer when he is hit by a passing vehicle which then continued on its course like nothing happened. What a fantastic citizen. You can fool man but not God according to many people!

The police cruiser which was pulled over even had its emergency lights on and should have been a sufficient visible cue for any passing vehicle to slow down and pass with caution.

When outside of their car, police officers have to be careful.
The suspect has now been apprehended and identified by local authorities as 21 year old Colin Murphy who hails from Schewnksville, PA. Colin Murphy has been caught, the perpetrator is big trouble! Officers testify that Murphy did appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of his arrest.

He has now accordingly been charged with aggravated assault with a vehicle, DUI, criminal mischief, hit and run, and other related charges. These charges can lead to severe punishments including a lengthy jail sentence, say Philadelphia, PA DUI lawyers who can be reached by clicking right here @ DUI-USAttorneys.com.

Colin Murphy should have listened to his high school teachers when they told him not to drink and drive!

Wheel Chaired Woman Dies, Repeat DUI Offender Charged in Auto Accident

The suspect in the case has been identified as Andrew Acito and he has been on the wrong side of the law on more than one occasion before. More specifically, he has violated driving under the influence regulations on previous occasions, as reported by philly.com.

This may be expensive to some but DUIs are far more expensive! It is amazing some people cannot figure that out. Not only that, driving drunk means you are putting other people at risk.
According to law enforcement authorities, he allegedly killed a homeless woman in a wheel chair while driving under the influence. Acito does have prior convictions for driving under the influence of intoxicants and also theft, which are likely to lead enhanced punishment, in the opinion of leading Philadelphia DUI attorneys.

The auto DUI accident occurred at Lehigh Avenue near Mascher Street in the early hours of the morning. The unfortunate victim was 37 year old Elaine Heyl who was in a wheel chair in the center median of the road.

Andrew Acito apparently likes to hit people in wheel chairs!
