50 immigrants and advocates vented their
frustration over the detention and arrests of Central American mothers and
children in the Atlanta area who many believe are just here to soak up free
handouts from American tax payers.
According to thinkprogress.org, four immigrant advocates
were arrested during the protest after they chained themselves to ladders at a
busy Atlanta intersection. They challenged beleaguered President Obama to issue
a suspension on deportations.

defending the stability of their families and that President Obama had the
power to stop any deportations. Carlos Medina wants Obama to act like a

tired of being ruled by dictators. Had the Obama administration not moved the

place, people like Medina would not have had an excuse or be bold enough to

Several high school teenagers arrested

a major blow in the highest court’s 4-4 vote. The lower court’s injunction
order still stands since late Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat remains vacant.
