Man arrested for his fourth DUI in less than 2 months!

A man from Monroe County is sitting in Lehigh County Jail after his fourth DUI arrest since March in 2016.

Upper Saucon Township Police responded to a call reporting a car wreck in the Vera Cruz Road and South Pike Avenue area just before 3:00 pm. When an officer arrived, a red Chevy Cobalt was partially down an embankment with the motor running and the keys in the ignition. Police also found Jeremy E. Goodson at the scene.

The 37-year old, with alcohol breath and bloodshot, glassy eyes, gave a rambling explanation of what took place to the police. He will certainly need an Allentown, PA DUI lawyer very soon.

According to reports, Goodson nervously paced about and pointed to a passerby, who had stopped to help and said he had been driving the car. Records indicate that he later said that he had been drinking with a woman in an Allentown bar and that she was the driver. But he could not give the police the name of his “girlfriend” or any other information about her.

The passerby told police that he was asked by Goodson to tell police that he was the one behind the wheel. Jeremy E. Goodson is apparently not an honest person and does not care about fines and penalties.

Goodson failed to post bail and was sent to Lehigh County Jail to wait for a preliminary hearing.
