Columbus Woman Indicted for Nursing Home Thefts

A Delaware County grand jury has returned with a 101-count indictment against a 55-year old woman from Columbus who, according to authorities, stole thousands of pieces of jewelry and personal items from the elderly.

Susan Gwynne was indicted on charges that stemmed from a crime spree that went on for as long as eight years. According to The Columbus Dispatch, the investigation began in January when a resident of a senior living facility, Olentangy Trail in Delaware, made a report to law enforcement about missing personal items.
