Santa Ana High School Field Coach Killed in Accident Involving Dump Truck

As reported by ocregister.com, a 59 year old Santa Ana man was unfortunately killed after his 2001 Toyota Camry collided with a California Department of Transportation dump truck. According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim has been identified as Joe Philips who was southbound on the freeway when he struck the center median and then rear ended a stationary Caltrans.

41 year old Gregory Anthony Ramirez of San Lorenzo, a FedEx driver, has been arrested for DUI after causing an accident that injured a California Highway Patrol officer.
