Dump Truck Topples Onto a Car in Winter Garden

Local authorities had no option but to close an intersection earlier last week after a dump truck and a car were involved in an accident, as reported by clickorlando.com. The accident occurred early in the morning at Stoneybrook West Parkway and Winter Garden Vineland Road. The dump truck is alleged to have struck the car and then to have toppled onto it. The dump truck was hauling a load of dirt which was unloaded on the road following the accident, thereby causing a massive traffic jam.

The car was driven by a female passenger who sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby medical center for treatment. The dump truck driver also suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene for them.

Winter Garden Police initially said the woman driving the car was responsible for the accident, but upon further investigation said that it was the dump truck driver who actually was at-fault for causing the accident.

Drivers who are negligent are dangerous. Truck drivers even more so.
No charges have been filed the case yet, and the accident remains under investigation. Police reports can play a vital role in determining liability for the accident according to Florida truck accident attorneys.

A 4 Vehicle Crash in Howard Frankland Bridge Leaves Road Ranger in a Critical Condition

A Road Ranger was seriously hurt in a four-vehicle accident which took place on the Howard Frankland Bridge, according to a wfla.com report while Hernando, FL truck accident lawyers read all about this truck accident. The accident is still under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.

Among the four vehicles were a Road Ranger’s vehicle say law enforcement officers who identified the now gravely injured Road Ranger as 53 year old Omer Duncan of Pinellas Park. His truck was struck by a Ford F-450 owned by Allied Building Products Corp as also explained on Tampa.com.

The truck also rear ended two other vehicles that were pulled over on the shoulder of the highway which the Road Ranger pulled over to render assistance too and so on. These two cars were a Dodge pickup and some sort of Chevy car. Police reports indicate that the driver of the F-450, Ryan Mistal, was cited for reckless driving and failing to carry his driver’s license. This can attract additional penalties in some cases say Hernando, FL truck accident lawyers. Ryan Mistal hit the Road Ranger when he was helping the two other drivers. Not good!

Mistal will be marked down under the negligent driver statistic.
