The Obama Period to See its Last Immigration Battle Soon

As reported by thenation.com, America waits anxiously as the Supreme Court is soon expected to make a ruling on the immigration policy once and for all. Either it will put an end to the seemingly never ending debate or grant the future president (hopefully not the one who was so careless and arrogant with classified information or the socialist) an opportunity to rule on the issue as he or she deems fit say immigration lawyers.

Everyone in the country is on the edge of their seats as the Supreme Court just recently declared that it will indeed take up a lawsuit revolving around immigration filed by the state of Texas and a staggering 25 other states. The lawsuit essentially counters Obama’s executive actions where he is offering undocumented immigrants a refuge at least temporarily until it is conclusively decided what needs to be done with them.

Obama refuses to realize that states do not have the resources to educate, house, employ, and take care of so many people that do not have the skills nor the language skills to pay for themselves in America.

DAPA – Deferred action against parents of American citizens and lawful permanent residents

The lawsuit was filed back in 2014 only weeks after Obama launched this senseless program in November 2014. While it sounds like a humanitarian thing to do, immigration lawyers remind us that housing, feeding, clothing, and medically treating (as already mentioned) such an enormous number of illegal immigrants (some of whom have criminal backgrounds) is highly expensive and takes away tax dollars from the hard working everyday Americans who can actually function in America and are not here just to soak up welfare payments.

America is more than tapped out – America is $19 trillion in debt ($9 trillion added by President Obama).

The program was termed DAPA by the Obama administration which stands for Deferred Action for Parents of American and Lawful Permanent Residents. The objective of this ‘so called’ program was to offer short term deportation deferral to illegal immigrants. In other words, they would not deport illegal immigrants, but instead give them shelter, food, water, and clothing, say immigration attorneys.

At first, it started off as a deferral option that would only be given to those immigrants that were parents of American citizens or American green card holders but then the program was widened to include younger immigrants. Even though these senseless measures were challenged back then, it is only now that the Supreme Court has finally made its decision to consider the case and actually make a conclusive verdict about it. Either way, the newly arrived immigrants will suffer since America really does not want them and has no place for them.

Students that do not know English are disrupting American classrooms across the country.

This decision will mark the end of the Supreme Court’s current term as it will come towards the end of June and verbal arguments seem like they will be scheduled for April. The ruling will also be of significance to the new President that will emerge as it will basically decide whether the President gets a real say in immigration matters going forward or not. Well, according to many people, President Obama has already said enough.

But strangely, now, President Obama is deporting some people. America is overdue for this.

DAPA – challenged since introduction

As President Obama prepares to step down from his pitiful and sad presidency, it seems like his decision to pass DAPA will still continue to taunt him. It was a program that faced criticism and was challenged legally by many states ever since its introduction and we can see why today. All it brought along with it was seven long years of inaction and hardly any relief to show for it.
