School Bus Crash in Kansas City Leaves 7 Injured

A school bus carrying 20 Kansas City students of Kauffman Charter School made a right turn at the intersection between Prospect Avenue and 77th street when it was hit by an SUV from behind. The investigators believed that the SUV driver did not see the turn indicator on the bus.

All the seven school children inside the bus escaped with minor cuts and bruises. They were all released after they were kept under observation there for several hours. The driver of the SUV too escaped unhurt, according to a Fox10 report. Kansas City, MO accident lawyers are still trying to figure out who was at fault, if anyone was at fault.

When did the bus driver put the signal light on? Was it in enough time for the SUV to notice?

The bus contractor, Cleveland, MO based Apple Bus Company is allegedly involved in four personal injury lawsuits which include one in October 2013 where two people were killed when their car hit one of the company’s buses in Johnson County. Neither the representative of Apple Bus Company nor its accident lawyers were available to comment on the earlier accidents.

The contractor is supposed to have the highest inspection grades in the state of Missouri according to state inspectors. According to Kansas City MO accident attorneys, all these factors contribute significantly in any accident claim or personal injury lawsuit.

However, his vehicle skidded sideways and was struck broadside by the vehicle he was trying to pass.

Nathan was getting ready to go to Nicaragua on a church mission and had plans to move to Colorado with his parents.
