School Bus Crash in Kansas City Leaves 7 Injured

A school bus carrying 20 Kansas City students of Kauffman Charter School made a right turn at the intersection between Prospect Avenue and 77^th street when it was hit by an SUV from behind. The investigators believed that the SUV driver did not see the turn indicator on the bus.

All the seven school children inside the bus escaped with minor cuts and bruises. They were all released after they were kept under observation there for several hours. According to police reports, Nathan was driving northbound and attempted to pass another northbound vehicle. Upon seeing another vehicle in that lane already, he attempted to move back into the previous lane.
